front yard flowers
grown & designed in alexandria, virginia
about me
while growing up in the concrete jungle of southern manhattan, i spent summers in upstate new york surrounded by my father's english garden and the wilderness of the catskill mountains. the whimsical foxgloves of his planting beds and fragrant lilacs of the woods introduced me to the enchanted world of flowers.

as a wife and mother, my fascination with flowers has grown into a passion for flower farming and floral design. in 2016, i started growing cut flowers in a 6x20 foot bed in the front yard of our duplex in alexandria, virginia. four years later, we relocated a few miles up the road and my micro-farm expanded to three 30 foot beds, again located in our front yard. the year-round process of growing and designing flowers is now part of the rhythm of our family life and a constant journey of discovery.
front yard flowers is the natural outgrowth of my insatiable desire to cultivate beauty and share it with others.
